I cannot hear the binaural effect
Use stereo headphones or earbuds. Binaural beats need a slightly different tone in each ear, so the effect is lost on a phone speaker or a mono device. Start quiet and raise the volume slowly.
The sound stops when the screen turns off
Some phones stop background apps aggressively to save battery. Open Android Settings > Apps > AuraFocus4 > Battery and choose “Unrestricted” (the wording varies by brand). Keep the session notification visible; it shows that audio is playing.
I do not see the notification
On Android 13 and newer, allow notifications for AuraFocus4 in Settings > Apps > AuraFocus4 > Notifications. The sound still plays without it.
How do I delete my data?
The app stores settings and a focus history on your phone only. Open Settings > Apps > AuraFocus4 > Storage > Clear data, or uninstall the app. We hold no copy.
Is the app a medical device?
No. AuraFocus4 is for focus and relaxation. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. If you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, a heart or hearing condition, or are pregnant, ask your doctor before using rhythmic audio. Stop if you feel unwell.
